One star in the sky
Shines before any other
Sending you a wish
The sun says farewell
While the moon hangs high above
Half, quarter or full
People say goodnight
While critters come out to play
Crickets sing and chirp
Time to close your eyes
And peacefully drift to sleep
Morning soon arrives
